Demographics: female, married, mom, Chinese. Born during the Carter administration.
Education: highly. Duke to UCLA to Ph.D in applied linguistics. So I can teach ESL and do conversation analysis. I've contributed to a couple books which I can link when I get around to it.
Souljourning: I move toward and walk with the Creator God. I'm not very good at it, but I am always surprised by God and usually in a good way. I have a "can't help it, this is compelling" thing with the Jesus of the Bible.
Physical life: When I'm not in my head or the spiritual ether, I like to play with food, yarn, and heavy weights. Swinging my kids around and hugs are also good.
Mental life: I have recurrent bouts of depression. I hate depression, and if it were a thing, I'd kick it to hell. Medication helps and next winter I might try light therapy. I like reading space opera and science fantasy. Learning new stuff is almost always entertaining. One thing I don't think I could learn is how to be normal.
